Help me give my students materials like sheet protectors, paint brushes, and journals that will ease their transition into a new way of learning in the classroom and at home.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Marina's classroom raised $752
This project is fully funded
My Students
We are a Title I school located in the heart of the East Village. Most of the students come from hard-working immigrant, low-income families. More than half of the families are unable to send in basic classroom supplies, and they count on the school to provide the necessary supplies students need to help them learn.
My Project
Everything that is listed in this project has been something I realized will be necessities for me as a teacher so that I can have more time to spend with students. In the past our school was able to provide the necessary classroom materials, however this year I need to ensure that I am able to provide the necessary support tools and access to materials that students would have in the classroom to also be available. at home. Students will need individual binders to be filled with support tools that they can use and reuse at home or at school during lessons. Students will also need individual bins to keep their writing and math tools. Materials that go into the binders are made very accessible via the site Teachers Pay Teachers. The availability of the materials on this site is really helpful in providing students the activities and the support tools all in one document and it also saves me a lot of time to focus on student and parent interactions.
Half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
