This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My Tk/K students are little sponges eager to learn something new every day. They come to school looking forward to learning new skills that will help them thrive in their grade.
For many of my students, this is their first school experience.
We are a Title I school and all students qualify for free lunch. We have a high percentage of English Language Learners.
My Project
Having a new, updated computer will help me deliver high-quality instruction to my little learners. Being able to show students educational resources will help them engage in lessons and learn new skills that will prepare them for the next grade.
Technology has become a very important tool in my teaching.
Through technology, my students are able to participate in songs, chants, music videos, and read aloud. They are also able to use the computer for educational games such as learning letters, sounds, high-frequency words, numbers, shapes, and colors.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
