This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to rebuild my classroom to be sensory friendly as well as engaging. Our current furniture doesn’t engage the current students as it should. I will use the new furniture to create, not only a safe space to express ones emotions, but a space that makes learning enjoyable. The new crash pad will benefit all those who need breaks and the new cushions should increase engagement. The toy items will also help students explore and understand their emotions. As well as be useful in academic and play goals for all students. Help us reach that goal today!
