This project is fully funded

I teach first grade at a title one school (low-income) and I am a second year teacher who needs literacy center activities.

The centers that I have chosen for my class are a Listen & Learn Word Family Activity Program, and a Listen & Learn Phonics Activity Program. They will improve the students sound, and letter knowledge which is the first step in learning how to read. Many of my students come from disadvantaged families. When my students leave my class to go home I know that my students have parents that care about their well being. Unfortunately, many of my students parents do not have the money to purchase the materials to reinforce what they have learned/are learning in class.

I have asked for two literacy listening center activities that have approximately 16 different activities to reinforce sounds and letter knowledge. I have also asked for an organizer to help organize my math manipulative's.

Having these items in my class would help my new first graders be on their way of reading faster, and better. You will be making a difference in the lives of my students by your generous donation.
