My Students
No books to read! I am new to teaching and having a classroom so I am requesting the Reading Rainbow books to fill my classroom and my students hands.
My students are second graders who vary in ability of reading.
They all deserve the chance to have books to read in the classroom and have a variety of texts. These books they will be able to check out and bring home so that they can read at home too.
Being a new teacher I don't have very many books for them to choose from.
My Project
The books I want in my classroom are all Reading Rainbow books so I know they all are good. They are not only good books to help with reading but educate them about different things at the same time. By having these books available I will also be able to incorporate them into lessons so my students can see reading occurs everywhere.
It is important because my students should not be punished because I am a new teacher and do not have books in the classroom.
I want my kids to have books everywhere they go, so they can have them at school and be able to bring them home.
