I'm a brand new teacher in a brand new school. We are just getting started and need some of the basics. Thank you for all you do!
Our school is in its second year running, and is a K-8 school in a public school district, but has a strong influence in the arts.
I'm really happy to be a part of something brand new in hopes of building a longstanding relationship with each and every parent and child. Very exciting!
My Project
I have requested a class set of the book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, so that we can read together. I really would love to read a book with our whole class, but just don't have enough books for everyone.
The best part about helping with this project is that this class set of books will be used by future classrooms for many years. By choosing to support this project, you are letting students participate in the all class reading experience. We will be able to character map, discuss plot and setting, and read aloud together!
I think this project is extremely important because I am a brand new teacher.
I just finished my masters degree and don't have a lot of money. I use all I can to get other furniture essentials and classroom environment type stuff, but to have someone as generous as yourself help us, we would be forever appreciative.
