My Project
My students are energetic, curious, and full of excitement for learning! As first graders, they thrive in a classroom that feels like a second home—a space where they can gather, share ideas, and grow together. One thing we’re missing is a large classroom rug that can serve as a central meeting place for lessons, storytime, and group activities. Right now, we don’t have a comfortable place for students to sit together and build that sense of community that’s so important at this age. A large rug will transform our room into a more welcoming and student-friendly environment where learning feels both fun and safe.
We’re also in need of a multi-drawer organizing cart to help keep our learning materials neat and accessible.
With so many hands-on centers and small group activities throughout the day, staying organized is key. This cart will allow me to store and quickly access essential supplies for reading, math, and writing—all while teaching students how to take responsibility for classroom materials. Your support will help create a more engaging, organized, and joyful learning space for our young scholars. Thank you for helping bring this vision to life!
