My Project
I teach students coming from different countries into the United States for many reasons most commonly to seek shelter, a better education and a better quality of life. Many of my students families make the difficult decision to leave everything behind to provide their children with better opportunities and often times a safer place to live. Because my families are coming from different parts of the world, they often times have very low means to provide basic classroom necessities and my goal is to have my ESL students feel very welcome in the classroom and to give them the best education possible.
With your help you will help me as an educator reach my goal of providing my students with supplies to begin learning a new language and to become familiar with a brand new environment.
The supplies I am asking for will help organize the students by using bins and shelves. I am also asking for dry erase wipe off strips to help my students practice the english language. As they make mistakes in writing , they can erase them and try again. The colored pencils will be used in class to decorate their final work. Please consider helping our classroom.
