New Supplies For A New School Year

My students need Ziploc bags, Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, a hand vacuum, Plugins, paper plates and Dixie Cups to keep our classroom clean and organized.

My Students

With budget cuts, our school district has had to cut back on cleaning. We get vacuumed every other day. Our tables get cleaned thoroughly on major vacations. I am asking for supplies so my students can help keep our room clean when the janitor doesn't have time to clean our room.

I will be teaching 20 second grade students next school year.

I am thrilled about the placement. This last year I taught first grade so I am moving up with my students. My students were so fun to teach. They have eager personalities and love all aspects of school. I am thrilled that I will be working with this group of students for another year.

My Project

My students need Ziploc bags, Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, a hand vacuum, Plugins, paper plates and Dixie Cups to keep our classroom clean and organized. These requested materials may seem banal, but they are a necessity. We use the Ziplocs to store and sort math manipulatives, the wipes to clean our tables, the vacuum to clean up spills on the days we don't get vacuumed, and the plates and cups for art projects.

By providing these materials, you will be helping my students have a more organized and cleaner work environment.

My students will be more active in keeping the room clean, a good life skill. The other supplies, the baggies, cups and plates, will be used for our art projects. We go through these consumable items weekly and will need to replenish our supplies for next year.
