Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are full of wonder about what they will learn in school each day. Our students are from low-income families and receive free or reduced cost breakfast and lunch throughout the year. Many of our students come from a Spanish speaking background or any number of other languages. Imagine coming to a new country and a new school and having no idea what is going on; for many of our students, that is what school is like.

Our students walk into class every day with a smile on their face, and they are eager and willing to participate and learn.

My Project

These supplies will help my students start off our school year on a great note! The pencils, colored pencils, markers and crayons will give them all the tools they need to create wonderful pictures and writing pieces. The notebooks will give them somewhere to write their responses and draw pictures to match their work. The paper towels and Clorox wipes will help keep our classroom clean!

The expo markers will help my students, whether they are remote or at home, participate in Math and ELA!

Students love their whiteboards and markers to answer questions!
