My Students
My students are growing up in a high risk area, where most people count them out before they even get started. They live in a neighborhood that is primarily section 8 housing. We are a Title I school, and all of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. Most students come to school without having any school supplies from home. It is my hope to update our classroom, by providing resources my students do not currently have access to. No donation is too small to make an impact for my students.
My students may not come from the best, but they DESERVE the best!
They are eager young minds wanting to learn all that this world has to offer, and it is my mission to help them achieve that.
My Project
My students are worthy of an updated classroom and some new supplies to start this school year off with a bang! Our school building is over 50 years old, but our classroom doesn't have to look that way! I take pride in creating a warm, vibrant, and engaging classroom and that is why I am asking for some new Science posters, a new adapter for our document camera, and new borders. I also strive for organization in the classroom. The paper sorter and file folders will help keep my students and their work organized. As for supplies, we go through so many glue sticks and erasers on a weekly basis- which is why I am asking for more.
