My Students

This is my second year of teaching fourth grade to a wonderful and creative group of boys and girls in a Title I school. We are excited to be looping from 4th grade to 5th next year! They are excited to learn and come to school each day. It is important to ensure that children enjoy learning.

Throughout the learning experience of each student, it is important that they continue the motivation to grow in their learning.

They will take their joy of learning into the next grade and beyond. Therefore, they need all the necessary materials to make them successful, independent, and confident learners. With your help, this can continue.

My Project

My students and I are looping up from 4th to 5th grade this upcoming year, and we are so excited that we are also moving into a new classroom! In this classroom, we are so blessed to have tables instead of desks to help us feel more collaborative and connected with one another, but yet less cramped by desks!

My students will need a place to put their belongings and supplies next to their tables with each student getting their own big drawer and the rest of the supplies will be shared!

This will help students who need organization skills as well as students who live in poverty to not feel left out as they will have all the supplies they need in one shared space.

Also, since we are moving up to a higher grade level, the electric pencil sharpeners will be able for the students to use instead of handheld sharpeners and the trash can will be used as an extra job for my students to be take out the shavings!

I am so excited about this project and I know my students will be as well!
