This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I’m seeking support to refresh our special education classroom with essential supplies and uplifting décor that will make a meaningful impact on my students’ daily learning experience.

In addition, we want to enhance our classroom atmosphere with décor that reflects inclusivity, inspiration, and a love for learning—items such as motivational posters, calming lights, sensory tools, and dedicated spaces to proudly display student work.

Many of our current materials are worn or outdated.

I work with a wonderful group of 4th and 5th grade students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences. Each of my students brings unique strengths, talents, and perspectives to our classroom. They thrive in environments that are structured, calm, and visually engaging—spaces that help them feel safe, focused, and supported.

Your donation will directly impact the day-to-day experiences of my students by helping create a well-equipped, organized, and welcoming environment where every learner feels seen, valued, and excited to be at school.
