Help me give my students much needed supplies in the classroom! We have new low income students through out the year who have zero supplies. Help make them feel welcome and ready to learn!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are kind, thoughtful, and full of energy as they join my classroom each morning! They attend school each day ready to take control of their learning as they grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
My Project
We have many new students throughout the year and they need supplies to jump right in and learn. Backpacks filled with supplies will help ease their stress and let them adjust quickly.
Flexible seating is extremely helpful in the learning process as students can work in a more comfortable position!
It is extremely beneficial for ADHD students who need to wiggle and move without distracting the class. We also need dry erase markers for our daily number talks and other supplies like the stuffed penguins to reward students as they progress in ST Math! They love JiJi the Penguin and are motivated to reach their goals with little fun rewards.
We could also use more cups and a dispenser as many of our students forget their water bottles each day. I want them to always have a backup. Thank you!
