All students deserve the right equipment they need to learn and thrive. In my art room, the stools we currently have aren't as reliable for the day-to-day exertion and movements of our students. Up to 1/3 of the current stools in the art room have been broken beyond repair for use in just the last two school years. The stools I am requesting in this project are very sturdy shop stools that I have personally seen and used in studio spaces throughout my educational and professional career. I know they will be able to withstand much more and prove to be reliable for many years to come.
Donations to sturdy and reliable stools for the art room will help provide students with the environment and equipment they need to focus on their special creations.
The students at our school have an eagerness for learning and creating that is contagious, and their creativity and positive attitudes inspire me every single day. Our art room is a safe and creative space many of them look forward to coming to every week to express and unwind. I believe they deserve the best equipment possible and it's my honor to try and provide them with that. Any donations to help us get these will be greatly utilized to help our creative space run smoothly.
