My Project

Hello, I am a new Special Education teacher with Chicago Public Schools. I teach students who require a highly structured setting with a lowered staff to student ratio in order to meet their needs. The school, Libby Elementary is located in the Back of Yards neighborhood. Students in my class have unique educational and social-emotional needs.

Student will benefit from Items included in this project by giving students access to materials and classroom essential that will help them with their individual needs that includes fine motor, social-emotional, attention, and sensory needs.

These headphones, earmuffs, and fidgets will help students sustain attention, provide emotional regulation support, and sensory input as needed throughout the day.
