Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The new semester is here and we are looking to restock our classroom supplies and snacks. These are things we will use every day, but often go under the radar. For example, the rug will go in our calming corner, as will one of the walkie-talkies (to help me communicate discreetly with students using the calm corner). The Bluey backpack has fun activities for the calm corner, and the clear backpack will help those things stay organized. The light bulbs are for our lamp and will give us a break from the harsh overhead lighting. The scent diffuser pens are specifically for students who have sensory needs and are small enough to not bother their classmates. The rug runner will go under our sink to help prevent messes.

My growing students are using a lot of mental energy, so they are always hungry!

Therefore, we also need a snack refresh. The timers will be especially helpful for students to "see" the amount of time they have when working.
