My Students
I will be working with students that either is diagnosed with speech impairment or learning disabilities this year. My students are from age 5 to 7. The majority of them are English Language Learners who might not have attended full-time school before. They live in homes with non-English speaking parents or caretakers.
My students are of Asian descent with 99% of them receiving free or reduced school meals.
They are excited about learning and they come to school every day with hope, expectations, and enthusiasm. Your donation truly makes a difference. Thank you very much!
My Project
Help me give my students new seating for the classroom for the sensory corner and the group meeting times. My students are in need of new seating in our sensory corner. Our sensory corner is a place they go to to decompress, rest, play games, and unwind. It is such an important place for students with autism or speech impairment to have this space available to them.
When I am around my students, I cannot help but want to be a better teacher.
My students don't ask for anything, but they deserve everything! Thank you so much for making this happen!
