Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Per safety precautions and a science contract students sign at the beginning of the school year, students will be able to perform labs with the appropriate equipment, like safety goggles. This will help students learn kinesthetically rather than from only observations. This will engage all students’ curiosity and gain a deeper knowledge of the content. With a donation of globes and flashlights, students can learn about seasons and direct and indirect sunlight with a hands-on activity, compared to reading about it.

Throughout the school year, students will perform many different labs involving Force, Energy, Physical and Chemical changes.

In order for students to safely perform these labs, students must wear the appropriate safety attire, like safety goggles, and use equipment such as a hot plate.

As a first-year teacher, I would appreciate your donation in making my inaugural year impactful.
