This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As this school year winds down, I’ve already started thinking ahead to the next one. A new school year brings excitement, fresh opportunities, and a new group of students who are full of potential. But it also brings a long list of classroom essentials that are needed to help students thrive from day one.

That’s why I’ve created this project to help provide the basics—items like paper, pencils, pens, and tissues—that so many students rely on each and every day.

These may seem like small things, but they’re the building blocks of a successful learning environment. When students walk into a classroom that’s fully stocked and ready for them, it sends a powerful message: you belong here, and your learning matters.

Many families struggle to provide these supplies on their own, and I never want any child to feel left out or unprepared because of circumstances beyond their control. Your support can help ensure that every student starts the year with what they need—and that I, as their teacher, can focus on teaching rather than trying to stretch resources or purchase everything out of pocket.
