My students need basic school supplies for school and home. These new pencil boxes, pencils, erasers, highlighters, and pens will be used daily in the classroom. The zippered pouches allow supplies to be used after school.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My third graders love to learn and show their individuality or "style" as they like to call it.
Who doesn't like new supplies?
Something to call your own! My students are no different. They love to get new supplies that they don't have to share.
My students are the face of the United States of America. Some were born in this country to English speaking parents. Some were born in the United States to Spanish or Vietnamese speaking parents. Others were born in another country and immigrated to the United States. One thing that all of my students have in common is their zest for learning. They are so wonderful in that they don't see the differences between themselves. Mutual acceptance abounds at our school.
My Project
My third graders are in need of basic classroom supplies to streamline each day. A new pencil box will be treasured. Many students don't have a place at home to keep their supplies organized.
In the classroom, my students use their boxes to keep their supplies organized.
And with a new box, you need new supplies like pencils, erasers, highlighters, and pens for correcting.
A zippered pouch is just the thing that many need to transport needed supplies from school to home. We are utilizing more strategies in the classroom and on homework where students have to annotate and color code their evidence. Let's make this a successful year for these great kids.
