it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It is important in math that students are able to show and organize their computations. In the past, I would hand out loose pieces of graph paper to students or have them get it from a designated location in the classroom. This led to a lot of wasted paper and loose papers cluttering every folder, desk, drawer, and often the floor.
Giving each student a graph paper notebook has helped keep work, desks, and the classroom more organized by providing a designated space for showing mathematical thinking.
These notebooks have become one of the most used tools in my classroom and students love having a designated notebook for their work.
