My Project

As a Social Emotional Learning Specialist, I support children and adults to acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.

This project will be focusing on the managing emotions component of my position.

This Tier 1 initiative will provide materials for teachers to create their own "Peace Place" in the classroom. This will allows students to self-regulate in class, rather than leaving.
