This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
For the past two years, I have taught first grade at a Title I School. However, I will be relocating to a new area and will be teaching at a new school. It is definitely overwhelming, but I am excited for the new change!
With new beginnings comes a new first-grade class ready to experience all my classroom has to offer!
With a gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers, I will be able to update my classroom decor by displaying an updated calendar and word wall. I will also be able to buy and prep both ELA and math activities for the upcoming school year. Additionally, finding "getting-to-know-you" games and activities will make the beginning of the year fun for my students. All of these resources will help me create a classroom environment that will welcome and engage my students in the work they will do.
