Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 5th year teaching will be in a new district, teaching at a new school, and around a new group of amazing students. Because of this, I want my new students to feel comfortable and welcomed in my new classroom.
These resources will help my new students feel safe, comfortable, and ready to learn in our classroom!
I see my students using the flexible seating options when they feel overwhelmed and need a place to settle down after sensory overload. The bean bag chairs will be soft and comfortable. The stools will be perfect to use around the classroom because they are light and can easily be stacked when not in use.
I see my students using these new leveled books to engage them in their learning and begin to feel more confident in their literacy skills. The leveled books help me differentiate my literacy instruction. Because there are so many levels included with the bundle, we can use them all year long as students progress!
The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will allow me to purchase specific grade-level content throughout the year. I can purchase resources in math, science, literacy, and many more! All of the resources listed will help my new students succeed in their new classroom.
