This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This rug will make a difference during our morning meeting and our whole group instruction. Each letter or shape will indicate where each student will sit to help maintain a calm and productive carpet time. Furthermore, the bright colors, shapes, and letters will provide students with various learning opportunities while on the carpet and throughout the day. Our goal for this project is to help students remember where they need to sit and it will help teachers maintain a seating chart. My students are special because they are made up of children with disabilities and typically developing children.
