My Project
My students this year have much different needs than my students in the past. I have noticed that having individualized spaces for them makes a huge difference with behavior and focus.
By providing individualized spaces on the carpet, more time will be will be focused on whole group instruction and less time will be wasted having to define spaces for my students.
We use our carpet daily for whole group lessons, including reading, social skills and math lessons.
My students will appreciate a new, clean and special place to sit on our new carpet. My students will also learn responsibility with our classroom job (carpet cleaner).
