Help me give my students more reading material and different ways of learning. These articles can expand their reading level and have them learn in different ways, either whole group or individually.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach History for 6-8th graders. My class is a special education class but my students are putting the drive to growth and learn. We want to expand our learning and put the work into magazines and articles. I really want them to expand their way of learning, not just through electronics. They learn with hands on material and chunking for better understanding. My students relate to life experiences and background knowledge to further grow and learn.
My Project
These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom incorporates different ways of learning. It is new material my students can enjoy. These magazines will help them expand their reading and increase their reading level and comprehension. I really want them to be in touch with different forms or reading. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these magazines will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
