My Project
Thank you for your interest. I am a third year special education teacher and will be teaching at two different Title I Schools next year, splitting my time in half. I need help setting up my second classroom. Currently I teach 5/6th special education and will continue to do so. At the second school I will be teaching K-2nd grade. Needless to say nothing I currently have fits the needs of the lower grade students. I am passionate about reading and am hoping to start the year with several new books for the students in hopes of igniting that same passion for reading in them. There are a few extra items on my wishlist. For example the seating, well who doesn't like a cozy place to read? I am already thinking of the fun ways students can use the rug to learn how to count and solve addition and subtraction equations. Please consider helping me start their school experience with a welcoming, cozy class where they feel safe and will be able to reach their goals.
