This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I invested in an LCD projector for my students. They love it when I do interactive Algebra 2 lessons on it. But the screen I have is wearing out and is not wide enough to get a big enough picture for the whole class to see. I also share my room with a film class, so a new screen would get great use!
Our school is in the heart of NYC.
My students all come from the local neighborhood. many take care of smaller brothers and sisters after school. They love technology and seem to learn better when the lessons come alive on the screen. They take great pride in their school.
My Project
I am requesting a wide projector screen that will allow students in the back of the room to see everything. I teach Business Math and Algebra 2 and a film class shares my room. We will do interactive Math lessons and I will show video of how to start a business. The film class will show films.
Your donation will make a big difference in making my lessons engaging for students.
Right now, I have paper taped next to the screen so it is big enough. My students deserve better.
