This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year I am teaching a 2nd/3rd grade combo class at a Title I school. I will be teaching a diverse group of students from all socioeconomic backgrounds.
To help the students feel as comfortable as possible in the classroom, I would like to provide them with flexible seating options.
Specifically, I would like to provide wobble cushions and a bean bag chair as flexible seating options. Flexible seating options also help increase students' blood flow which in turn keeps them more alert and focused in class. Any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
