My Students

My class has 28, outstanding, 6th-grade students. Our classroom is very diverse with students having a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. Despite their differences, they work together and help each other on a daily basis. They understand and value the importance of being kind and caring towards one another.

The students enjoy working and collaborating together on classroom projects and assignments and love to contribute to class discussions.

In our classroom, everyone is welcome and treated like part of a big family.

My Project

The materials for this project were specifically selected to enhance our classroom library. The students in the classroom have a variety of reading levels and interest. These novels were chosen because they are written by well known authors and will meet the reading needs for a variety of learners in the classroom. The novels range in topics to meet a variety of interest. Yet, the collection encompass several works from the same author, allowing the students to explore multiple works and read several novels written by one author. I know these books will make a difference in our classroom and inspire the students to continue to grow in their love for reading.
