New Novels For A New Year

Help me give my students some new classroom library books for all reading levels!

My Project

Students love novel studies! This next school year I would love to introduce kids to A Wrinkle in Time. This is a book series and I would enjoy introducing them to the first one in the series. This novel is rated highly from teachers all over the country. I personally do not have this book and have not been able to read the whole series myself. I have started A Wrinkle in Time and have been making notes as I have been reading so that I can ask in depth comprehension questions throughout the reading.

5th Graders love to be read aloud to even though they are upper elementary.

This book is an excellent read aloud and one that they can follow along with and read along with me during a read aloud. Obviously kids will read aloud as well as just listening to me. I love to provide a safe reading environment and encourage them to read in front of the class as well as listening as I read aloud. I would love to provide this book for my whole class next year and this project will do just that for all 76 students! Please consider donating to this project. I have also included in this project the mini series so that when we complete this story, I can introduce them to the next book. I have also included a set of graphic novels. Kids love to read these graphic novels. I unfortunately do not have many in my classroom and would love to provide these for my class. Graphic novels are the new generational comic books.
