My Students
My school is a pre-K through 6th-grade school. We are located in a very diverse populated area. Our students are very culturally diverse and we have a wide range of ethnic groups. We live in a very urban population. We are a very high percentage of free and reduced-priced lunch.
Our students are some of the hardest working students you will ever meet.
You will not find a school with more dedicated students or teachers. Thank you for helping our students achieve success.
My Project
I am a Computer Teacher at an elementary school. I teach all 800 students ranging from K-6th graders. All students come into the lab about twice per week for different learning activities.
The mouse pads that we have are really worn out and some computers do not have them.
For some students the worn-out mouse pads causes distractions. Without the mouse pads, the mice don't roll right since the old pads have some uneven patches or holes on them.
Since many of my students do not have computers at home and or they are just beginning to learn how to use a mouse, they begin to get frustrated using their mouse and it takes there focus off their work they have to complete.
