New Mid Year Teacher Classroom Needs!

Help me give my students some classroom basics like headphones, journals, and supplies and, after being online so long, some fun hands-on learning activities that promote student collaboration and content application!

My Students

After a rocky year and a half of fully remote teaching and taking a few months for myself to recharge, I have jumped back in the classroom mid-year at an awesome new school in an awesome new city.

My new 2nd graders can be described with three quick adjectives: diverse, deserving, and determined.

Though I have only just met my new group of 2nd graders, I can already tell it is going to be a fantastic half year with them. They have amazing life stories, focus and grit like I've never seen, and our classroom has some needs to help my students reach their goals. I strive to make our classroom community welcoming, motivating, and accessible for all. It is my goal through DonorsChoose.org to provide my students with as many resources as I can in this ever-changing school environment and world.

My Project

This project includes materials that will support in-classroom learning. The classroom I have stepped into mid-year, this year, already has lots of awesome materials, as well as the potential to reignite our classroom space as a productive and hands-on learning environment.

You will help supply my students and our classroom with basic needs, such as pencils and erasers, but also with unique, hands-on learning activities that will challenge students to apply what they have learned in collaborative way.

You will be supporting my kiddos and fill our classroom with daily needs as well as new and exciting materials!
