New Materials for a New Year!

My students need new beginning of the year supplies for writing, staying healthy, and creating a colorful classroom! We need ink, binders and more.

My Students

My pre-K scholars are amazing! They are the only full day class in our school. They are eager to learn and love being in school. Our school is very diverse and takes pride in welcoming and engaging all scholars and families. We are committed to creating a school where kids feel safe, loved, and motivated.

As a school, we take pride in creating an environment where we celebrate diversity, discuss and study racial equity, and "inspire all scholars to reach high levels of social and academic achievement and to become future leaders through a collaborative system of support" (our school's mission statement).

My Project

Every year we go through a lot of supplies. The Clorox wipes are so nice to have to keep our tables and classroom clean. It is nice to have a whole bunch to stock up on in the beginning of the year so we can use them and not worry about running out.

The new set of three-ring binders will be journals for each scholar to write in during the year.

We use the journals every day in small groups to reflect on our reading and learning. We also have a special shelf for our journals so our scholars can write in them during their Active Learning time.

The extra printer ink is for our classroom printer. My scholars love to print photos of work that they have done. We like to display those photos around the room or send them home to their families. The extra ink will not limit our printing and help us to create a colorful space!
