it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Due to lack of funding and budget cuts and after 20 years as a reading intervention specialist, I am moving into a new position at my school next year, Media Specialist!!! I am super excited and up for the challenge, but I am in need of some supplies to get the library up and running. I want the library space to be an organized and inviting area for my students to develop a lifelong love of books and reading. The students at my school are from mostly low income families who have little to no accessibility to books at home, which is why I want our school library to be a place they are excited to visit with books and games that are fun and engaging.
