Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
While redesigning the TK and Kinder space in the library, I noticed that our old rug is too small. This new rug will fit the space, liven it up, and create space for all students to sit comfortably.
This rug will create a positive learning environment.
While seated with comfortable bodies, and with enough personal space, students will be able to focus on instruction instead of on each other.
Students respond to their physical environments. When they see a welcoming space that encourages their learning, they respond positively. I’m looking forward to providing the best possible library space!
