This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With every new year, is new students with different interests and skills. This new set of wonderful students have a big interest in holidays! Our classroom learns content in English and Spanish, so I have selected texts that are available in both languages. I plan on adding these amazing books to our classroom library and displaying them for them to choose.

My students deserve books that are available in two languages that engage them in their holiday interests and supporting their reading skills.

I know for a fact that my students will grab these books very quickly and read them by themselves or to their peers.
