This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
New York State has been changing and updating the science standards and curriculum, and we are doing our best to keep up with them. The new curriculum requires much more hands on student activities and laboratories throughout the year. In order for us to complete all of these activities, we need the corresponding activity materials.
We need the curriculum kit for New Visions - Woolly Mammoth so that my students can complete all of our laboratory activities.
I am very excited for our students to engage in this new curriculum and engage in more hands on science. By doing this they will be able to experience and understand more science and engineering principles and have a deeper understanding of how science works in the real world.
