Help me give my students the opportunity to assemble a 3D printer from parts and print high speed. This printer can print really strong materials that can be flexible and as strong as many metals.

My Project
My students are learning physics, engineering, Java/Python coding, drone technology, and robotics this year. They want to be able to apply these skills to solve STEM-related community service problems that help our environment.
These items are essential to teach STEM students how to 3D print high-stress prototypes and robotics parts for competition.
We want to teach computer-aided design and additive manufacturing. Last year we printed parts for our robot in lower stress areas. This year we want to print gears and other high-stress items and test them before we buy their expensive metal parts. This printer can also print materials at much higher temperatures than our current printers. We should be able to make these high temperature parts workable in competition. With this printer we may be able to use AI to help us design parts. This will also help with supply chain issues as the China tariffs ramp up.
Many of my students plan to be the first person in their families to go to college. This diverse group of boys and girls is preparing to compete in two autonomous robotics competitions this year at our school. They want to improve their understanding of machining, 3D printing, and robotics technology. Students will build and problem-solve a 150-pound robot from parts. Students will also be building a drone from parts. Machining students will be learning about drone rescue and delivery.
Not only are we trying to excel in technological skills, but, as a group, we apply our skills in our community. This helps students understand the importance of problem-solving and how the world around us benefits from using robotics and STEM technology. We do recycling and support multiple teams by 3D printing parts.
