Help me give my students durable new headphones to use with their Chromebooks for reading activities, math games, and science lessons.

My Students

We are a group of diverse, energetic, and excited learners. We learn in one of the most diverse district in the country. Within our four walls, I have students who speak Burmese, Somali, Dari, Farsi, Arabic, Turkish, Russian, and English. Even with all of these different languages, students always find a way to communicate and learn together.

Kindness, empathy, compassion, joy, and excitement are demonstrated every day with our students.

These 3rd graders will always amazing me with how well they treat each other and how supportive they are of one another.

My Project

Our old set of headphones have lasted about three years, but are held together with tape and a prayer. We are in dire need of new working headphones. We are down to the last couple headphones and we are requesting brand new, more durable sets that will last at least a few years longer than the last set I received.

Students enjoy listening to stories online, playing fun math games, and learning new things on interactive educational websites.

This can be difficult to accomplish when students can hear each other's stories or games coming from their friends Chromebooks​ because they don't have working headphones. While we use headphones on a daily basis for different topics and interests, we still need headphones for state and district mandated testing.
