I have 21 super energetic 1st graders this year. They love playing outside and inside. We have very old outdoor toys that are broken and barely intact. They sometimes prefer playing in the field as opposed to the actual playground. They will love the hula-hoops, jump ropes, and balls!
On rainy days, we are stuck inside for recess and have limited options on what to do.
Adding board games to my classroom will allow students to play together, learn how to take turns, and be team players.
We are working on getting ready for 2nd grade, and we have a "classroom" store where they can cash in points for rewards. We are running very low on items.
The various other items will be used to adhere our sight words to our word wall. The MacBook will allow me to create customized activities and lessons for our class.
