This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a young enthusiastic group of kids who come to school ready to learn every day. For many of them, this is their first school experience. Our current classroom table is very old, rusty and cracked. Having a new table for my students will help them complete their classroom assignments without worrying about the table messing up their papers and/or projects. Also, having these wonderful bear manipulatives will help my students learn how to sort by color and size as well as help them count.
This new table can accommodate students of different ages and sizes, allowing for a comfortable working environment.
By having this table, I can create a dynamic and organized classroom environment that promotes effective small group instruction and smooth transitions for my students. This colorful table can make my classroom environment more engaging to facilitate my groups.
