Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We have a dance team this year, and the students have been working very hard to perform their dances in a month. Unfortunately some of them still need the proper footwear in order to execute certain skills. We would really appreciate any donations so that students can safely dance, and so students can all look similar on stage.
This is the first year that we have had a dance team.
It involves 3rd-5th grade students. They have learned some jazz & ballet technique, Hispanic heritage dancing, and hip hop. Performances will consist of all types of dance listed above.
