My Students

I work with students in k-8th grade but my real focus is on k-4 and building a strong academic foundation with them. The kids we serve come from lower-income hardworking diverse families. School is so important to them and oftentimes Mom and Dad are working full-time jobs just to afford basics.

My Project

I've got the internal necessities to be a teacher but lack the personal library of resources to get organized.

Teachers Pay Teachers has so much available to a new teacher.

Everything from checklists, lesson plans, posters, worksheets, and all kinds of resources that have been created by real teachers. I am becoming a teacher so late in life because I have a desire to provide positive relationships and encourage young minds. Organizing lessons plans and coming up with worksheets isn't where my heart is, so it would be awesome to get those things out of the way so I can focus on the students.
