My Project
Hi! I am a special education resource teacher in a Title 1 K-8 School. This year will be my first year sharing a classroom with a co-worker and combining case loads. We will be serving kids K-5th grade with varying abilities. Our hope in combining rooms is to best serve our students in a larger capacity. These specific items will go a long way in creating a space for our students to succeed and feel welcomed. For instance, the headphones are a must and are not given to us as a school. A lot of our scholars have sensitivity to loud noises (fire alarms, bells, music, kids working together in groups, bathrooms). Our lamps will be used to create a calming space where students can take a break/calm down.
