My Project
My students are amazing! I work at a school where 100% of students receive free lunch and 75% live below the poverty line. Despite these struggles, these students show up each day showing incredible resilience and a desire to learn.
The students spend so much time on the carpet at the front of the room.
Our school classroom rugs are old and stained and I'd love to give the students a refreshing, new, bright rug to learn on.
The goal of this project is to give my students a place to learn that they are excited about!
The magnetic tiles are for indoor recess. Living in Kansas, we have recess indoor the majority of the time during winter. I'd like to provide students with more opportunities at indoor recess rather that just playing on computers. This also would help the students explore STEM activities.
