New Classroom Materials to Enhance Learning

My Project

I teach in a self contained classroom with nine students that all require specialized learning programs. This means that I need to create materials for each and every student that meets their learning needs while engaging and challenge them to be their best. I use a lot of cardstock and laminating sheets to construct durable and targeted materials for my students. The velcro, double sided tape and file folders help me to build independent tasks that support learning and generalization of their skills. White boards and markers provide opportunities for students to develop their fine motor skills like writing. We use glue to also practice fine motor skills. I often use materials from Teachers pay Teachers to engage my students.

Individualized learning makes a big impact on student growth.

I hope that with these materials I can continue to grow my library of options for students. I want to ensure that I am able to provide the best for my students. In order to do that I need to have the necessary materials such as; card stock, laminating sheets, folders, velcro, tape, glue, whiteboards and markers.
