This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a 4th grade teacher at a Title I elementary school in Brooklyn, New York. I have been teaching for 11 years and I love what I do. I am grateful to teach such wonderful, motivated, and inspiring students.
My students love to read and explore new genres of text.
They enjoy reading everything from realistic fiction and folktales to biographies and sports. I would love to surprise my learners by adding some new and captivating library books to my classroom library. My students will be able to read these texts both in the classroom and at home. I greatly appreciate your generosity and support!
